Very poor communication. When making my appointment, I was told that the headlight parts for the recall would be in asap and I would have my truck back in a couple days. They were also supposed to look into a CEL for "engine or transmission service". I dropped the truck off on Thursday 1/30. After not hearing anything, I stopped in on Monday 2/3 to get an update. I was told that they were waiting on a transmission valve body and it should be in by Thursday 1/6 and that they would call me when the part arrived. I heard absolutely nothing until Friday 2/14 when I got a call that my truck was finished and ready to be picked up. If I had known this was going to be a 2 week repair, I would have gotten a loaner vehicle.

As usual, the quality of service and the service staff and mechanics are second to none. The only thing I do not like is the extra charge for using a credit/debit card when paying for service. I had taken my car in for a state inspection and planned to pay cash. When my car did not pass inspection, I needed to make a costly repair on the spot. As I wasn't planning on having to do this repair, I did not have enough cash on me (over $600) to pay for it and I had to put it on my debit card. Pinkerton charged me $20 for using the card. I bought my car from Pinkerton and I always take it there for service and oil changes. They are very good, but this extra charge leaves a very sour taste!

Had a problem with brake assist on my 2017 Chevy Trax since Nov.2024 and this is the first time dealership ever had one of these to ever show up on a vehicle and they went by the codes to get parts to repair my vehicle. It took several attempts and a lot of time to fix my vehicle and with General Motors help and with Ramseys help it took some time to finally get the brake assist problem solved. (The whole time they had my car they did give me a loaner car to use. Thank You)

Several many year service customer here. Second straight poor experience with Pinkerton. Had an appt for an oil change, inspection, tire rotation, and exhaust sensor. They didn't even get the vehicle in a service bay on the day of the apt. Returned a few days later and the" routine service" took 2 days. Maybe there has been some new management structure or computer system micromanaging everything, but the experience has went down hill in the last year

My first visit was fantastic, but my second visit fell short of expectations. It was incredibly busy, and I had to wait in line for over 20 minutes, which made the whole experience feel rushed. After my truck's oil change, I was disappointed to find that my left headlight and turn signals stopped working right after leaving the dealership. They were functioning perfectly when I arrived, so it's certainly concerning. Additionally, my truck has a motor recall. When I asked about it, nobody seemed to have any information on when they would inspect my vehicle to prevent any potential issues. This is my first Chevrolet truck, and I must say, it's likely to be my last. I should have stuck with Fords.

I’m very unhappy about the outcome of my visit I came to get my vehicle inspected and it was rejected which it shouldn’t have been because looking at the vehicle you can clearly see that the tires are not rubbing and while in normal operation it doesn’t rub I just don’t make sharp turns because it well rub against the body molding and knowing that I don’t make sharp turns other than that my vehicle is in excellent condition and I am truly disappointed that they made it sound like it was a problem those tires cost $400 each and the mileage I get on them are surprisingly good smh I’m just truly disappointed 😠

You had the vehicle for 9 days including one weekend. The bill was about $500 - seemed reasonable , but within a few miles it was apparent that the issue was not fixed and in fact there more issues than the requested service entailed - remote lock and start worked fine before - now they don't work in addition to the initial service request. It was return to service today - I can only pray that the proper attention is given.

Communication was great despite that was deaf. We understood each other very well. Didn’t feel pressured to purchase a newer vehicle. Took me a couple days to think. Dealer and service manager gave me few great deals and at last I couldn’t resist it. Finally bought a newer vehicle. Still love it. When I went to desk to pay for my service (oil and filter change ), I failed to let ladies know that I was deaf. She talked to me and I had no clue what she said. Not her fault. Dropped my Suburban off on Wednesday evening for a Thursday appointment. I was going to be out of town through the weekend. Never received a phone call. Called Monday AM and was told my car had not been brought in. About an hour later got a call with the diagnoses. A bill was given ~$4k which I thought was high (timing chain / oil pump) but gave the go ahead. Note: advisor did work with me on the price a little. Was told it would be complete Tuesday / Wednesday. I called Tuesday PM (3:33) to check on it and was initially told it wasn't complete then told (on the same call) that it was. We picked up Wednesday. The work seems to be done correctly and didn't take too long (and wasn't crunched for time). I was sticker shocked and communication could have been more proactive.

I’m pretty clueless when it comes to tires. Austin helped me find the right tire and got it in the next day! My tires had dry rot so it was pretty urgent they get fixed. I have a equinox and Colorado truck both of which I bought at Pinkerton Chevrolet.They have serviced these vehicles.My equinox needed 2 tire pressure sensors replaced during a tire rotation and oil change service.They gave me an price of 269.98 for after market sensors that cost about 30-40 doiiars each which I thought was outragious.So to make along story short I did not leave happy.Ido not mind paying a fair price fo service but this did not seem to be fair to being along time customer.

customer service was not as good as before. when we arrived the bay had two parked cars in it and the entrance was partially blocked by a parked vehicle outside the bay door. Tight squeeze to get into the customer service bay. There used to be two ladies who worked the customer service bay area; they were not present and in my opinion, that was the reason for the congestion. no one came to us to offer help or to check us in, we had to go to the desk. I'm not very happy with your new way of doing things. Bring back the ladies.

I’ve been a customer of Pinkerton Chevrolet since 2014. The service department and the sales team have gone through l many changes in leadership and some with staff however, they continue to uphold a standard of excellent when it comes to the customer experience that I always have received. I have brought family members and friends in from out of town when I stay out of town I mean other states as far north is Maryland and as far south as South Carolina to purchase and even recommend to do service with them, I still Tribles over one hour and 30 minutes and One Direction just to go and have my vehicle service at the service department here as long as they keep this standard both on the sales floor and mainly in the service department, which is headed up by Ramsey, his team back over in parts, Jason and Mike. And one of the long stained and salesman Mario as long as you have people like this in the corporation who embodies the Customer experience to be a positive one no matter when it’s uncomfortable and difficult and challenging for both of them and the customer they never give up and they continue to persevere customers like myself will always come and continue to come and recommend others for the same experience. I’m sorry once you said a standard high it’s kinda hard not to want to return as a customer, can you look at other dealerships and compare the experiences from there to Pinkerson!!

Always easy to deal with. Austin does a good job of identifying the issues, has the experience to guide you to the right solutions, and works to accommodate your needs. I have both my vehicles repaired at Pinkerton. Many people say that a dealer is more expensive...in the long run I find this to be false. OEM parts and service matter. I can't speak for everyone, but my experience with this service department (Austin) and parts department (Mike) have been nothing but positive. Recommend.
