2021 Chevrolet Tahoe

Chevrolet is rolling the 2021 Tahoe out in five well-appointed trim levels. For the new model year, get a bigger, better, bolder SUV in your choice of LS, LT, Z71, Premier, and High Country variants. There are also rumors that the bowtie brand will also see an RST model in the lineup.

You won't want to pass up on the eye-catching design of the range-topping High Country. It's simply stunning with its signature grille, available 22-inch multi-spoke gloss black wheels, and black roof rack cross rails.

Get your SUV with a choice of three engines, including a 355-horsepower 5.3-liter V-8 that puts out 383 pound-feet of torque. The High Country features a brawny 6.2-liter V-8 that puts out 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque to deliver brisk acceleration. If you're a diesel fan, Chevy is scheduled to introduce a 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-six. This bad boy creates 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque for towing. This trio of powerhouses is mated to a slick-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission.

The Tahoe is easy to maneuver, thanks to Chevy's body-on-frame design. It handles well with its precise steering, and when you add upgrades such as adjustable air suspension and Magnetic Ride Control, it's smooth sailing over bumpy roads.

If you plan to tow, this Tahoe is for you. When properly equipped with a two-speed transfer case, in-vehicle advanced trailering system, a trailer brake controller, a higher rear axle ratio, and hitch guidance on the rearview camera, it can pull 8,400 pounds.
